As a copywriter, the brilliant thing about radio is that you are completely in control of the pictures. I’ve made quite a few radio commercials in my time… here are just a few.
Alfred Dunhill Sale – starting with three ten second top, middle, and tail ads and then three ads pre and during the Dunhill sale. Award-Winning.
Austin Kaye – a series of interviews with Stanley Kaye, owner of Austin Kaye that made the point about the shop in a different way.
BP – Jonathan Porrit was a very well-known environmentalist, so I used a pastiche of him to promote BP Vouchers.
Clarks – refitting shops and then reopening them could make for a dull announcement. Award-Winning.
East Coast Boat Show – Three commercials describing the size of this boat show
Pensionstore – Two commercials using a different way to sell pensions, using growing older as a hook. Award-Winning.
Wardair – A budget Canadian airline was about to start flights from Leeds…
Way of the Dragon & Fist of Fury – a non-PC way of announcing a Bruce Lee double bill.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_column][cs_element_column _id=”5″ ] [/cs_element_column][/cs_element_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
